About

Made by one person

I'm Lark. Before MakeMeDemo I spent 13 years engineering cloud infrastructure: Amazon S3 and Route 53 at AWS, distributed object storage at Baidu, and four years as a cloud solution architect at Tencent Cloud.

Building a good product turns out to be the easy half. Getting someone to experience it is the hard one. A screenshot is too thin, and a video is something people watch rather than something they try. That gap is what I built MakeMeDemo to close.

That background shaped how it works. After a decade of being trusted with other people's data, I designed this product not to hold yours. Your recordings, API keys and exports stay on your machine, nothing you build is sent to us, and every export is a self-contained file you host yourself — if I stop, there is nothing to migrate.

MakeMeDemo is intentionally lean: a local app for creators and teams who want interactive demos without sending product data into yet another SaaS.
