MakeMeDemo vs Supademo
Supademo is a cloud platform billed per creator, every month. MakeMeDemo is a desktop app: you pay once, it runs on your computer, and your demos are files you own.

You make demos yourself or in a small team, you don't want another subscription, or recordings of your product can't be uploaded to someone else's cloud.

Supademo
Two-year cost: Supademo Scale at $38/month × 24 months per person; MakeMeDemo at the regular $79 per person. AI usage is billed by your provider and can be $0 with a CLI you already have.
Three differences
You own it, you don't rent it
Supademo's Scale plan is $456 a year for each person who makes demos, and it stops working when you stop paying. MakeMeDemo is $79 once, with every v1 update included, and the licence works offline.
Your recordings stay on your computer
Recording, AI writing and export all happen locally, and nothing is uploaded to us. That matters when you record an internal tool, a customer's data, or a product that isn't public yet.
Bring your own AI, or no key at all
MakeMeDemo can use the Claude Code or Codex CLI already on your machine and the voices your system ships with, so you can start without an API key. Add your own key for any model you like; it never leaves your computer.
When Supademo is the better choice
Supademo is a mature product with a whole team behind it. If your sales team needs to see who opened a demo and for how long, or wants demos pushed into HubSpot or Salesforce, Supademo does that and MakeMeDemo doesn't.

Questions
Can I move my Supademo demos to MakeMeDemo?
There's no import. You record the flow again in MakeMeDemo, which takes a few minutes per flow.
How do I share a demo without Supademo's hosting?
Publish it in one click to your own storage (S3, Cloudflare R2, Tencent COS) and get a link that stays the same when you update the demo. Or export a self-contained HTML file to any static host, or MP4 / GIF for email and social posts.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. Use it free for as long as you like, no sign-up: up to 3 demos, exports watermarked, the original language only when you publish. Sign up for a free 7-day trial of everything, no card needed.
Which computers does it run on?
macOS (Apple silicon and Intel) and Windows.
